Within Clear-flow our vision is to be the most recognised supplier of honest and professional drainage solutions in the South West.
Having grown from ‘one man in a van’ in 1982 we are proud to remain a family firm with honesty, professionalism and value for money being really vital to us.
The company has grown rapidly over the years by investing in the latest technology and hence offering services that our local competition have been unable to match. This has allowed us to obtain 3 current framework contracts with South West Water and to hold a high customer profile having worked with companies such as BT, Asda, Lidl and Balfour Beatty.
Whilst we are now specialists in commercial work we have never forgotten our domestic customers and now offer dedicated parts of the fleet specifically to empty household septic tanks and have bespoke domestic jetter/CCTV vans strategically placed across the region so allowing us to respond promptly when customers are suffering the unpleasantness of a blocked drain.
We also aim to give all our customers the peace of mind that they are dealing with a professional firm that has gone through the correct licensing and certification processes hence we hold ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 in addition to other industry recognised accreditations. The company has in recent years won many awards notably the Cornish Business Awards and The South West Water Supplier Awards.
So that we have good coverage across our chosen area of operations in 2009 we expanded from our Cornwall base by opening our Newton Abbot depot and this was followed in 2013 with a further outlet in Plymouth. Working with our partners we also site vehicles in North and Mid Devon.
In 2011 the company became part of The Goonvean Group. This has given us the benefits of the larger buying power of a group of companies helping us obtain the right value from our suppliers which in turn allows us to offer great value to our customers. At all times however it is important to us to be part of the local community and we try wherever possible to use suppliers located close to our depots.
Clear-flow now employs in excess of 90 local people and as such we are delighted to be a big part of our local economy. We additionally respect the local environment hence our St Day Head Office that we moved to in March 2011 has a ‘BREEAM Excellent’ rating.
The company now prides itself in offering a full suite of DRAINAGE SOLUTIONS and offers customers both big and small a one stop drainage shop whatever the need. Our operational management system is second to none and allows us to ‘punch above our weight’ in the effective deployment of our assets and the retention of job information.
